Introducing: The Codspiracy Theories
Upcoming doo-wop/trance (indie rock) band,
The Coddiwomples, have been gaining great momentum on the South East Queensland
music scene. In this digital age though, bands don’t only build a fan-base in
their local area as music sharing sites and social networking make it possible
for anyone around the globe to connect with an artists music. People from all
around the world, Ireland, Vegas, and Nimbin, have expressed an appreciation
for not only the bands avant-garde music but also their inspirational members
that are related to and idolised by many.
Although increased attention drives sales
of music, merchandising and live performance, it also makes life tougher to
live in the spotlight. Coddiwomple members have been deeply wounded by the
controversy and accusations surrounding their names; nevertheless, they have
not allowed themselves to be blinded by the limelight. Staying true to their roots, Coddi’s have
decided to flip the situation on its head and have a laugh about all the
strange things out there on the Internet (also, any publicity is good publicity
and our followers are dropping like crazy so we could use the media attention).
We’ve decided to feed on and indulge in the rumours, not confirming anything to
be true, but not denying.
In our new series, ‘Codspiracy Theories,’ you
will gain access to exclusive facts and perspectives on topical issues
surrounding The Coddiwomples and the lives of Jasmine, Michelle, Layne, Mairin
and Emily.
xoxo, CPD
